As part of its Alfa 4-Life CSR program, Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, organized the tenth annual Christmas concert of the SOS Children’s Villages Lebanon choir titled Joy to the World at the UNESCO Palace. Comprised of 57 children, the choir sang Christmas and folk songs by the late Zaki Nassif, in addition to performing an enchanting musical play.
The evening was attended by Alfa CEO and Chairman Marwan Hayek, national director of SOS Children’s Villages Lebanon Mrs.Viviane Zeidan, Alfa management and staff, members of the SOS Children’s Villages Lebanon, and several media and social figures.
Hayek congratulated the children on their performance, “which not only put a smile on our faces, but also brought joy to our hearts”. He thanked “everyone who worked with the children to give such an amazing performance”, hoping that this event would be reiterated within the Alfa 4-Life program “in order to celebrate Christmas together with the children”. He extended his greetings for everyone during this blessed festive season.
In turn, Mrs. Zeidan praised the “ongoing cooperation with Alfa which supports children through the Alfa 4-Life program and allows them for the tenth consecutive year to express themselves and gain self-confidence through a concert by the SOS Children’s Villages Lebanon choir. Mrs. Zeidan gave special thanks to Mr. Marwan Hayek, and wished Alfa “prosperity and continued success in its social commitment and responsibility”.
